Objective: collect 150+ pairs of sunglasses by April 1st
We will be distributing boxes around the valley in order to have people conveniently donate pairs of glasses(sunglasses or eye glasses).
Advertisements in the newspaper(for 1 month) will inform people about our project.
We will also talk to grade 8 classes about our project, and the grade 8's will recieve a specific prize in our school competition.
Ads on the bluescreen will be shown all month along with a video that will be played afterschool on some days. Posters will also be posted throughout the school in order to get as many people informed as possible.
The leadership class has made personal bets on which location in the valley will recieve the most pairs of sunglasses, this is to incourage students to spread the word and try to win their personal bet and in return a small prize.

There will also be a school competition, whenever a pair of glasses is donated the student has to tape their name to the pair of glasses and at the end of the month, a pair of glasses will be drawn for a prize which is paid for with the $100 dollar budget donated from the Lions Club to aid our collection process.
In return for this fundraiser, the Lions Club will be giving the Leadership class $500 dollars to spend as we see fit, but most importantly, people in 3rd world countries will be recieving an aid to sight.
